Lonely Taco Maker Beaten on Bus; Odd Game of Honey Rodgers Cola Farm Cheers Him Up
Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10:48PM ScoopGods.com - After a regular day of work making tacos at his taco stand recently, Ed Prunkle left for the bus after locking up. He waited on the corner with a giant smile on his face. Why was he so happy? Well it was because he was looking forward to getting home and enjoying a game of Honey Rodgers Cola Farm with has friend Lathan.
Ed Prunkle suited up for Honey Rodgers Cola FarmWhat is Honey Rodgers Cola Farm? Well it's a game of chance and danger. What happens is that Ed dresses up as a Bishop and hides in the yard with a box of Rice Krispies. After counting to 140 while staring viciously at a microwave warmed carrot, Lathan sneaks out into the yard carrying several bottles of cola, a jar of honey, and a plastic toy pig. After setting the cola bottles in a row, Lathan lays on his back and pours the honey on his stomach. After his stomach is well coated, he sticks the pig on top and waits.
The object is for Ed to sneak up on Lathan and attempt to sprinkle Rice Krispies on his stomach without getting any on the pig. If he is successful he yells "Honey Rodgers Cola Farm" if he is not then Lathan gets to choose what condiments Ed uses on any "bunned" meats for the next 3 months.
So with this happy thought in his head, Ed entered the bus with an extra spring in his step. He punched his bus card and took a seat next to a lively looking old lady. Several minutes passed by without incident until Ed decided to have a piece of gum. The old woman asked for a piece but Ed refused because the gum was a family heirloom left for him by his great aunt. He only chewed the gum on special occasions such as this.
An elderly woman wanted Ed's gumThe elderly woman became furious and smacked him in the wrist with a comb. It was an awful smack, leaving Ed with a slightly raised red spot on his skin. In despair Ed turned away from the awful woman and looked across the aisle at a jolly looking baker who was holding a try of freshly baked buns. The baker was saddened by Ed's sorrowful state and attempted, unsuccessfully, to cheer Ed up by blowing the fresh bakery smell toward Ed with a mini fan.
So anyway, Ed made it home at his usual time and played several games of Honey Rodgers Cola Farm with Lathan, winning many of the spirited competitions. This brought back the happiness that was lost on the bus. Afterward Lathan and he sat down and enjoyed the evening while eating hot dogs. Lathan's had ketchup on it while Ed's had toothpaste with coconut sprinkles.
